Logma – Al Safa – Dubai, UAE

e63471f434ea72f083543f96c8b02aa6_1467020037Logma is located in the Boxpark, Al Safa. There is seating outside and inside. Ambiance is pretty contemporary. They serve Emirati cuisine in a modern style, with some fusion recipes.

I had gone there with my family for Iftar on the invitation of their management.

We broke our fast with Dates, figs and apricots and mocktails to drink Atlantis Mojito and desert oasis.

Then had starters Samboosa Cheese and beef, Logma Fries (Seasoned with Khaleeji spices and mixed with crisp herbs) kids loved he fires, Quinoa Salad (Mixed baby greens, quinoa, parsely, mint, basil, coriander leaves, rocca, dates and pistachios with lemon herb dressing). Actually this is the first time, I had this variety of salad, it was love at first sight or should I say bite.

For the main course we had Chicken Mozzarella (Stuffed with marinated chicken, tomatoes, fresh mint, roasted peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto and mozzarella cheese) and Chicken Tikka Khameer Sandwiches. We also had the popular traditional Emirati spicy rice dish Machbous Chicken (served with raita sauce).

For desert we had the Chebab Katayef (Pancakes stuffed with cheese and dates, topped with saffron syrup and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream) and ended with Kadak Chai.

Their portions size for all the dishes are pretty good. The food was very tasty, very good quality and all made to perfection.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Their manager really knows how to treat their guests well.

I would defiantly take my visiting guests to this restaurant, to get a taste of the local Emirati cuisine and hospitality.
